Transfăgărăşan, also known as DN7C connects Transylvania and Wallachia, crossing the highest Romanian peaks, Făgăraş Mountains, on a distance of approximately 92 km. This mountain road starts in Argeş county and ends in Sibiu. The road reaches a maximum height of 2042 meters at Bâlea Lake.
Bran Castle
Bran Castle is 30 kilometers from Brasov and is one of the most impressive historical monuments in Romania. Built on a rock, it houses the Bran Museum and is an attraction for tourists who come in search of the legend of Count Dracula. Bran Castle is also known as Dracula Castle, a name even given by tourists.
Peleş Castle
Peleş Castle is built on the royal estate of Sinaia. The construction began in August 1873 and was financed both from the private accounts of Prince Carol and from public funds. At the end of the 19th century, Peleş Castle was one of the most modern European royal residences.
